Don't forget to wear sunscreen...

Found it from my fren's note: good advices for us... encourage me to quote some of it to be my new year resolution...especially about the relationship with old buddy....

If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists, whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked. You are not as fat as you imagine.

Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing every day that scares you.

Sing.
Don't be reckless with other people's hearts. Don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Floss.

Don't waste your time on jealousy. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long and, in the end, it's only with yourself.
Remember compliments you receive. Forget the insults. If you succeed in doing this, tell me how.
Keep your old love letters. Throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch.
Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't.

Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees. You'll miss them when they're gone.
Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll divorce at 40, maybe you'll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary. Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much, or berate yourself either. Your choices are half chance. So are everybody else's.
Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or of what other people think of it. It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.
Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your living room.
Read the directions, even if you don't follow them.
Do not read beauty magazines. They will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents. You never know when they'll be gone for good. Be nice to your siblings. They're your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go, but with a precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle, because the older you get, the more you need the people who knew you when you were young.
Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard. Live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. Travel.
Accept certain inalienable truths: Prices will rise. Politicians will philander. You, too, will get old. And when you do, you'll fantasize that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.
Don't expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund. Maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse. But you never know when either one might run out.
Don't mess too much with your hair or by the time you're 40 it will look 85.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
But trust me on the sunscreen.

Almost 25

Dear My Guardian Angel,

I do not know whether you are exists or not, but since I could “pass” all these things in this world till this moment, save and alive, so I guess that you are here, there or somewhere to “watch” me...


About 25 years ago, my mommy sent me to this world, this never ending problem of world...

To learn that life sometimes is fu*king suck....sometimes is wonderful...

Life is about white, black and grey...


To learn about how to life as a human, and interact with others

Though some of them are bit*h

And some of them are the special people in my life


To keep growing though sometimes it is different with what I've planned

And feeling lost, undirected…

Or sometimes I feel so high...


I knew it,

But

Sometimes I don’t understand, keep worrying…

That recently my life turns to be grey…

I feel stag, not growing any longer

And sometimes I do not know who I am anymore


Day by day

I hate myself more and more


So please my guardian angel,

For my birthday, I wish...


For a pure heart to keep think clearly in this grey moment


For a strong mind to fight for everything that will happen tomorrow

Spiritual power to keep my soul alive and not forget my creator

An ability to manage time better and send away my laziness

A “you are hired” news from a company

Eagerness to “delete” my “facebook” account till my thesis is finish

Simply heart to stop complaining and comparing my life with others


Another years in this country…


And other years of life to make other wishes in the next birthdays….

最大の敵自分だろう?

もう10月後半だけど、
仕事まだ決まってなくて、論文もまだ書き始まってない。

どうすればいいのかって自分に聞きたかった、
けど、自分のせいだから
自分も分かった。

今後、どうなるのかを一番心配だけど
この状況続けると自分の目標もだんだん失ってくるかもしれない。

なんで自分がこんな風になったの?
日本に来る目標はなに?
生きっている、なんにを目指すの?
将来もなんにをなりたいの?

いつも志望動機、自己PR に国際人材になりたい、キャリアーウーマンになりたいっていうことばかり書いたけど、
本当だろう?本当になれる?
皆、20代の頃、同じ悩みあるのかな?私だけだかな?

昔、私こんな人ではないと思う。しかしあるとき、自分がなんでいつも同じだろう?全然変わってない、ちゃんと成長しているかな?
今の私こんな風になるって......環境のせいじゃなくて、自分がちゃんと問題をコントロールできず、他人を責めている。

やっぱり、最大の敵自分だ!!!

Kisahku = kisah pendekar?

Urgent conditions!!!

But, lack of motivations in myself can not help me out from this situation yet.
Trying to find out another motivations to keep me move on.
As my sister said to me..."if i could describe your conditions now ..it is like a "Kisah Pendekar silat", and almost go to the ending, just wait to meet and fight to the last battle, to be the real "satria/pendekar"...so don't make the story ending with "pendekarnya balik kucing ke goanya"...go and face it.

Huhuhuuhuhu...good enought to support me.

Metamorphose

Lagi coba membuat metamorphose
Tahun pertama gw datang ke Jepang... Spring 2007, 22 years old, fresh, ready for my bright future...

Terus, masuklah ke musim panas 2007.... (summer 2007), masih belum banyak perubahan kali ya...


Dan ketika lulus dari sekolah bahasa di tahun berikutnya...spring 2008...wow!!! Bahkan gw kaget, pernah berisi seperti ini....total naik 8 kg...


Di tahun 2008, mulai bulan April, gw mulai masuk kuliah lagi, lingkungan baru lagi, ketemu banyak orang baru....kecengan sampe jadi pacar baru....semua baru....

summer holiday 2008 (mulai kembali ke asal)


Dan Fall atau musim gugur 2008, uda mulai suka stress2 ga jelas..hahahaha...
Waktu gw cari foto untuk tahun 2009, gw baru ingat2 kayaknya ngga pergi hanami (nonton sakura, minum2 segala) di tahun 2009. Adanya cuma foto ini...gw merasa tua banget yeee di foto ini....
Tahun 2009, musim panas bulan Juli ini, setelah 2 tahun sekian bulan di Jepang, pertama kalinya balik ke Indonesia. Ke salon bilang..."potong rambut saya!!! Yang pendek aja sekalian, dan bikin terlihat muda lagi...." (ga pernah bilang minta mirip penyanyi dari Hong Kong!!!).
Sekarang gw uda balik lagi di Jepang, tapi tugas gw masih banyak dan jalan di depan masih menunggu...
Liburan singkat di Indonesia kemaren semoga memberi gw semangat baru, memotivasi gw buat ngga takut dengan realita. Wake up and action!!!

(entah kenapa, gw tetap merasa kayak encik2...apalagi dipotong gini...mirip penyanyi hongkong dikit lah....)
